The Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Standard 50 Device CAL Pack provides Client Access Licenses for fifty physical devices to connect to your SQL Server 2022 Standard instances. This is the latest-generation Device CAL pack for shared computing environments.

Device CALs assign access to physical machines. Every user who connects to SQL Server from a licensed device is covered — making Device CALs the standard choice for shared terminals, kiosks, point-of-sale systems, factory floor workstations, and any environment where hardware is shared.

SQL Server 2022 is the most intelligent SQL Server ever released. Parameter Sensitive Plan Optimization (PSP) creates multiple execution plans for different parameter distributions, eliminating the parameter-sniffing problem. DOP feedback automatically adjusts parallel execution, and CE feedback corrects model assumptions.

Ledger tables bring blockchain-inspired tamper evidence to your relational data. Using cryptographic hash chains, ledger tables provide verifiable proof that data has not been altered — critical for financial reporting, compliance auditing, and healthcare records.

Contained Availability Groups simplify high-availability deployments. The Link feature enables managed disaster recovery to Azure SQL Managed Instance.
