The Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Standard 50 Device CAL Pack provides Client Access Licenses for fifty physical devices to access your SQL Server 2017 Standard instances. Each Device CAL covers one machine — any number of users on that device can connect to SQL Server without needing individual licenses.

Device CALs are the smart choice for shared-device environments.
